SYNCELL to Present at The Cell Bio Virtual 2021 to Demonstrate The Potential of Its Microscoop™ System for Broad Cell Biology Utilities

a spatial biology system company, announced today that it will present at the 2021 Cell Bio Virtual 2021-An Online ASCB|EMBO Meeting, taking place virtually on December 2-16, 2021. The presentation will feature data from SYNCELL’s novel Microscoop™ platform, combining the use of AI pattern recognition and novel photolabeling chemistry to achieve subcellular-level de novo protein labeling, to demonstrate the applicability of using this technology across a broad range of cell- and tissue-based proteomics research. SYNCELL CEO Jung-Chi Liao, PhD will give the presentation titled “AI-assisted microscopy-guided photocatalytic labeling enables de novo subcellular spatial proteomics”.

In the rapidly growing spatial biology field, SYNCELL’s Microscoop offers a unique ability to clarify previously unknown cellular interactions and functions by analyzing the contextual information of cells and tissue sections in a microenvironment. The knowledge has the potential to be applied to deduce new biological mechanisms, identify new drug targets and discover biomarkers for therapy response.

“We are excited to share our latest data that demonstrates the unique ability of our spatial biology platform,” said Dr. Liao. “We believe cell biologists will find the data highly interesting and will give them added confidence in using the Microscoop for their own research applications.”

About SYNCELL Inc.
SYNCELL is a development stage company with a vision to revolutionize in situ cell biology and biomedical research. The company will soon introduce its groundbreaking Microscoop™ platform, the first and only system that allows users to pick up, identify and quantify thousands of known and unknown proteins in specified cellular and subcellular locations. Microscoop™ is pairing unique imaging and illuminating capabilities with novel photolabeling chemicals to provide deep spatial proteomics insights to transform a wide range of basic biology and translational research including neuroscience, oncology, immunology, infectious disease, gene therapy, and to identify novel therapeutic targets with spatial context to accelerate drug discovery and development programs.
