SYNCELL Has Appointed Lucy Lu as President of its North American Operations

Lucy Lu has been appointed President of SYNCELL north american operations, effective May 1, 2021 and be responsible for all operating functions of SYNCELL USA and support global partnering efforts.

“I am excited to join the SYNCELL team to transform biomarker discovery and biomedical research,” Lucy said. “SYNCELL’s Microscoop™ is the first and only automated bioimaging system that can identify, isolate, and quantify both known and unknown proteins from a targeted cellular or subcellular location.”

Prior to joining SYNCELL, Lucy was an early member of several diagnostics and therapeutics startups including NephroSant, Auxesia Orion, and Crescendo Bioscience where she served as Chief Operating Officer or SVP of Corporate Development. She was VP of Technology Management at Roche Diagnostics from 2003 to 2008. In her early career, Lucy focused on drug development at Genentech and BMS, before switching to marketing at Applied Biosystems to market novel life science instruments and reagents. She holds an MS degree from University of Illinois, an MBA from St Mary’s College, and a BS degree from National Taiwan University.
