Syncell Showcases Pioneering Microscopy-Guided Subcellular Protein "Scoopable" Microscope at the ASCB Annual Meeting 2023

Do you know most of the 80(?) protein species at primary cilia distal tips or 100(?) protein species at the lipid droplet-mitochondria interfaces? It would be cool to physically isolate proteins from focal adhesions, extracellular vesicles, dendritic spines, tips of primary cilia, peroxisomes, inter-organelle contact sites, etc. under a microscope from millions of cells automatically and use mass spectrometry to determine the exact protein constituents at these sites.

Syncell will be in CELLBIO2023 to exhibit its Microscoop™, the first subcellular “pickable” microscope that performs AI-guided targeted photo-biotinylation on thousands to millions of cells fully automatically. The subsequent mass spectrometry proteomic analysis can reveal unbiased spatial proteomes at 300-nm precision. It has been successfully used to reveal novel protein constituents of β amyloids, TDP-43 aggregates, stress granules, primary cilia, etc., and it has been used on fixed cells and FFPE human brain tissue samples.

We will participate in the ASCB 2023 meeting, come join us at :
